I think we pretty much know how my weekend went: I laid on the couch. I didn't even make it to choir practice; the thought of singing for two hours made me want to faint. I'm seriously sick of being sick (doesn't take me long, does it??) I gave my body all this rest and it doesn't seem to be rewarding me like it usually does...you know, BY GETTING BETTER. I worked from home today in the recliner, since the whole getting ready process was still exhausting. I have the day off tomorrow, but I REALLY hope I can go in on Wednesday.
I did get a corner of Random Thoughts done last night while watching Once Upon a Time.
A couple more random notes...
- I don't often link to other posts, but I read one today that I thought was just fascinating...do you know who Kitchener stitch, raglan sleeves and cardigans are named for? It's all related to the Great War...take a look here at Mixed Martial Arts and Crafts.
- Victorian Motto Shoppe is having a fantastic giveaway for Christmas, if you don't know already! (If you mention I sent you, I get some extra entries, but I'm the last one to know about this, right??)
|Still sick, still stitching. The real question is, are YOU sick of NaBloPoMo yet??|
