No knitting this week; I'm starting to panic about getting the prestitching done for my class at The Attic the beginning of November.
I'm almost halfway done, so I'm feeling pretty good about it, but I won't be calm 'til it's done! I do need to get started on a baby sweater for a friend (the sweet little girl arrived yesterday, so now I have no excuse!) I've never knit a baby sweater, and I'm terrified of lots of little seams, so any suggestions are welcome! I want something lacy and relatively seamless and not in fingering! I'm thinking of Helena. Has anyone knit this one? Comments on Ravelry seem to be that the details are a little fussy but worth it, and it's in DK weight. I think I can handle that.

Good luck with getting the stitching done in time, it's looking gorgeous :)
I'm no use with baby knits, but I did make a baby hoodie that was cute and easy to make (can't remember the details but it should be on my rav page!)
Very pretty! I recommend Earth Baby Kimono by Lion Brand. It was supper easy and only took me a few days to do.
I hope you get your stitching done in time:)
As for baby sweater recommendations, I love the Baby Yours and Baby Mine sweaters. They are so sweet.
I love baby knits: they're so fast :-) I have loads of easy ones in my projects on Rav, let me know if you like any, I can send you the pattern :-)

I'm sure there are some mostly-seamless baby sweaters. I did the 5 hour one and I think I remember it only having some arm seams, though I had done them in the round instead of flat.
Chocolat is looking fantastic! I've seen Teresa's and the thread and fabric are stunning together. I have no doubt you'll meet the deadline.
Helena is one of the baby sweaters that I wish I had a baby to knit for!
Good luck on your stitching. My favorite baby sweater is the Baby Surprise Jacket (but its not lacy).
Oh my, your stitching is gorgeous! I hope you finish in plenty of time for your class.
That baby sweater is lovely. Once again I am left to wonder why I didn't knit when my kids were little enough to wear what I wanted them to wear :-)
That's looking great I'm sure you'll get it done in time.
Your stitching looks great.
I suggest a basic top down raglan sleeve for the baby sweater. No seams!
Very pretty stitching - good luck with it! That sweater is adorable - I say go for it!
Oh Heather - it looks so yummy! Way to go on the stitching - you will get it done in time, I'm sure!
Have I told you about 100 times before that you are so lucky to get to take this class? You will have so much fun!!!
