WIP Wednesday...Say What? Edition

Click now for JiffNotes

Previously on WIP Wednesday...I was talking about my kinda-sorta-Honey-Cowl-Moebius Thing. I didn't get as far as I would have liked, and I'm still not sure if I'll end up liking this pattern, but I have restarted this thing so many times I think I'm going to slog ahead.
Hopefully in this picture you can see a little more of what I was talking about. When you knit a Moebius, you are essentially knitting the right side and the wrong side simultaneously, one on top of the other. Don't worry if that didn't make sense. But you can see in the picture that it looks like I have a lot more "wrong side" than "right side"...I think it's just the nature of the knit stitches versus the purls...i.e., the purls are more 3D. But what do I know! I'm hoping it'll all come out in the blocking.

Oooo, look at little ol' perfectionist me being so laissez-faire! Must be the Halo 4 fatigue. =)

It's looking really good! I haven't tried the whole moebius-on-purpose thing, I suspect it would break my brain just a little bit. And now I will cover my ears (eyes?) and run faaaaaaar away from your Halo 4 comment so I can pretend I don't know it's out and I won't have to buy it for the Hubby. Right? Please?

Such a comforting looking bit of knitting ... all soft & warm & cozy about the neck. You're moving along very well! At least you are moving! My knitting has been stagnant for months : (
