February Just Nan SAL Check In

After all the "drama" last month of trying to track down all the fibers for Lady Scarlet's Journey, I thought I'd be happily stitching for a while. Since I'd finished up part one, it was time to move on to part two.

Where I promptly discovered that part two had entirely different fibers which I'd also have to track down.

*sigh*

I did manage to get some done with what I had, though.

All the bands in Lady Scarlet's Journey have names, and this one is called, "Avoid the Pond of Leaping Frogs". But I don't see a pond...hmmm...I might have to add one.

Lovely progress, it is a pain having to track down threads in the middle of a project when you have some momentum going...

This is beautiful. It's been ages since I cross-stitched or attempted needle point. I want to get out my last project that's in hiding (under pounds of yarn and roving)

I love what you have done...I am only doing the first part myself. Can't wait to see what it will look like all together. I only use DMC so have all the colors (unless I take them out and lose them)...I have also tried dying my own. Not as easy as I thought it would be.

Love your progress! I'm working on this chart too. Luckily I bought all the fibers years ago before my local LNS went out of business and it's just been patiently waiting for me to get to it.

Growing nicely, its a lovely design to stitch.

I was only looking at my finished Lady Scarlet yesterday and thinking it was time to get it framed to accompany my Barnabees Quest.

This is lovely, presumably the pond has been avoided so you can't see it?

Now I know the bands are named I want to stitch it even more!

Oh just simply beautiful!!! I have this started but it is not much though. I hope to complete this project this year!

Let me know if you need the threads for part 3. I have a Michael's close by!

That's a pain! Email me the list and I'll see if any are in my stash
