Gifted Gorgeousness

This year Jo at Serendipitous Stitching, hostess of many a fabulous blog hop, is also hosting a great stitch-along! Gifted Gorgeousness is all about stitching on things we've been gifted (or possibly that we *want* to gift). You can click on the graphic above to find out more about it.

I have a few things I want to work on this year, but I'm starting with a project I should have finished last year! Bonnie at Bonnie's World kindly sent me printouts of Jennifer Aikman-Smith's 12 Dragonlets of Christmas...she even contacted Jennifer to make sure it was OK! Why all this trouble? I don't do facecrook, and the dragonlets were only released on there. Anyway, I managed to complete 10 out of 12 last year during the Smalls SAL, but I really want to finish them this year! Here are the 10 I finished:

Here's how far I've made it on dragon 11, a little piper.

Love this set - you've stitched them beautifully. Good luck with the last two.

They are so sweet! Are dragons allowed to be sweet? I'm sure they'd prefer to be fearsome

What a neat idea for a SAL! I've been having similar thoughts, actually, that I needed to pull out some of those that have been given to me and actually do them. And I had completely forgotten about the Dragon Dreams 12 Days. I am on FB, so I have the charts, I had just squirreled them away on my computer and put them out of my head. Electronic charts don't show up in your physical stash (unless you print them out). Thanks for the reminder!

It's funny how spammers feel the need to start with "this is not (a) spam"... /cough.

I think my favorite so far is that very confused goose, ahaha. So very cute.

Well done on completing so many of the Dragonlets of Christmas. They are looking great.
I'm also not on Facebook, but you can still go onto the Facebook page and download the charts. Not everything is blocked for non Facebook people. You should still be able to get her other charts from Facebook.

Happy Stitching
